10th Anniversary Book

Introducing: “In Their Honor” A Commemorative 10th Anniversary Honor Flight Book

Throughout the last ten years, WDAY Honor Flight has taken more than 1,000 WWII and Korean War veterans to Washington, D.C., free of charge as a way to say “thank you for all you’ve done.”  WDAY Honor Flight – alongside Forum Communications Company – is producing a commemorative book featuring beautiful, full-color photos of the eight trips taken from 2007 to 2017, as well as stories taken from the archives of The Forum. The book also features behind-the-scenes facts and surprises from the trips and never-before-published biographies of every WDAY Honor Flight veteran – sure to be a keepsake for generations to come. Some book sale proceeds will be donated for future Honor Flights. Books are still in production, but you can reserve your copy today. Books will be mailed out in early July.
The book costs $30 plus shipping and handling.
Go online to WDAY.com and the WDAY Deals page to pre-order your book today.
If you’d like to give the book as a Father’s Day gift, consider stopping by WDAY, WDAZ or The Forum for a card which tells your loved one a book has been saved for them. (That way you’ll have SOMETHING to give him until the actually book arrives in July).
You may also go into the lobbies of our two stations and The Forum and order the book.
This book is 10 years in the making and we can’t wait to share it with you!
Many thanks to our generous sponsors: American Crystal Sugar, Bell Bank, Dakota Refrigeration, D-S Beverages, Offutt Family Foundation and Sanford.
