Thanks to all of you who have pre-ordered our new Honor Flight book “In Their Honor: WDAY Honor Flight 2007-2017.”
Because of an unexpected printing delay, the books will now be available in the lobbies of The Forum, WDAY-TV and WDAZ-TV on July 12th not July 5th.
We’re sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused. Books that have been pre-ordered will be shipped out by the 12th.
Throughout the last ten years, WDAY Honor Flight has taken more than 1,000 WWII and Korean War veterans to Washington, D.C., free of charge as a way to say “thank you for all you’ve done.” WDAY Honor Flight – alongside Forum Communications Company – is producing a commemorative book featuring beautiful, full-color photos of the eight trips taken from 2007 to 2017, as well as stories taken from the archives of The Forum. The book also features behind-the-scenes facts and surprises from the trips and never-before-published biographies of every WDAY Honor Flight veteran – sure to be a keepsake for generations to come. Some book sale proceeds will be donated for future Honor Flights. Books are still in production, but you can reserve your copy today. Books will be mailed out in early July.
The book costs $30 plus shipping and handling.
Go online to WDAY.com and the WDAY Deals page to pre-order your book today.
You may also go into the lobbies of our two stations and The Forum and order the book.
This book is 10 years in the making and we can’t wait to share it with you!
